Idaho State Capitol Building

Boise reminded me of Davis, CA. It seemed as though everyone was on their bikes the entire time, it was super nice. They had an amazing memorial to Anne Frank that had the Universal Declaration of Human Rights sitting there. It was gorgeous walking around it.

Their state capitol was pretty nice as well. There wasn't anyone to give me a tour, but I decided to give myself a tour. The capitol itself was a nice looking capitol. It didn't outshine the other ones, but it wasn't a travesty like some of the not so well done ones. It was constructed in 1905 which is around the time a lot of capitol buildings seem to have been built. The funnest part of this capitol was the replica of the Winged Victory of Samothrace statue. It was really cool seeing a replica of it. The liberty bell was found right outside the capitol and can be seen in the picture above.
