Capitol
Wisconsin state capitol was a fairly gorgeous building. It was the 3rd building built and cost \$7.25 million dollars which is roughly \$131 million in today’s money. The architect was George B. Post & Sons from New York. The statue on the top of the building is the “Wisconsin” statue and represents the states motto, “forward”. I think one of the funnest parts of the Wisconsin state capitol was that it was nicknamed the Badger state and because of it there are images of badgers everywhere! Badgers are super cute so I approved of that message.

Wisconsin’s liberty bell was nicely placed within the capitol building at the south gallery. It was cool to see it just sitting there so that everyone could ask questions about it.
