Phoenix is the home of my parents and the day I came down was my dad's birthday! Talk about a party waiting to happen. We had a blast and had an amazing dinner at Tutti Santi. Not only did I get to enjoy my dad's birthday, but I also got to see my first state capitol! Arizona had a fun state capitol. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the staff welcoming. As it's been a while I don't fully remember the details, but I do remember that they ran out of funds building the capitol so that it isn't fully finished. I also found my first liberty bell! Turns out each state received a liberty bell about 60 years back and each one of them had it only display. You can see it in the picture above. Here started my quest to take a picture of each liberty bell.
