Minneapolis was a gorgeous city to just walk around. The sculpture garden was one of my favorite points. There were a ton of sculptures and above I’ve placed the more famous of the sculptures. My 2 favorite sculptures though was one that looked like 3 metal poles coming out of the ground, but created a swing set of sorts. It was really neat. The other one I liked was a bunch of benches with quotes on them which made you think. It was a fun sculpture garden.
Of course while in Minneapolis I stumbled upon another Basilica. This one wasn’t the most gorgeous, but turned out to be the first basilica established inside the United States which is pretty neat. Definitely worth checking out some former US history by going to this basilica.
Of course while in Minneapolis you must go to the mall of america. It is not the largest (even when built it was only the 2nd largest mall in the US), but it is the most visited mall in the US. The coolest part about the mall was that there was an amusement park built inside the mall! I didn’t ride any of the coasters, but it was really cool to peruse all of them.
While in Minneapolis I also went and saw the Delta chapter! This was my first time visiting the delta chapter and it felt like an honor to go and see them. We went out to dinner at Stanley’s which turned out to be amazing food. I had the Stanley burger (and almost everyone else did as well) and it was phenomenal! Definitely one of the better ones I’ve had on my trip. We also got there when they were about to start trivia night! I personally love trivia nights so we decided to join in on the fun and play. We got super close to winning too! We were 1 question away from winning it all, but we ended up getting the question wrong unfortunately.
While in Minneapolis I also had to try the famous juicy lucy from Matt’s Bar. I thought the Stanley burger the day before was amazing, but this one took the cake! The burger was epic in all sorts of ways. It’s basically a hamburger where the meet has cheese inside of it so that when you bite into it a wad of cheese comes out. So scrumptious even though I don’t even like cheese!
Although there wasn’t much in Minneapolis, it was super fun to visit it and check out the sites.
