Fraternity
West Lafayette is home to Purdue University and the Alpha Beta chapter for my fraternity! I stayed at one of my favorite brother's house, Vay Van. Vay is one of the employees at Purdue so he showed me around town and all the cool spots to go. The dining commons were pretty standard, but tasted pretty good. I was oddly surprised in a good way. Vay also took me to Von Dough's Shack which is a calzone joint in town. It was really good! We had the Hollitarian (I think) and it tasted epic. Definitely worth visiting. Vay also showed me the speak easy in town called 'the chocolate shop' which was pretty cool. I also got to meet the current actives of Alpha Beta which was also a pleasure! They are doing so well and it was an amazing time seeing them. We ended up going to Olive Garden, which probably helped them considering Olive Garden is one of my fave restaurants. The amount of breadsticks I had will not be mentioned, but suffice it to say the alfredo sauce that I ordered with it was wiped clean by the end of it.
