Charlotte is the biggest city in North Carolina and unfortunately there wasn't much there. Mandelbrot got his headlight fixed and I also visited the Discovery Place. The museum was a hands on experience with each section having you perform some task in order to see what science reveals. It was a super fun concept that seemed fun for all kids and adults! There were so many adult groups I think they might have outnumbered the kids at some point. It dealt with different science concepts such as physics, chemistry and biology. It was fun to play around and learn as we went along.
