Hoover dam! It's the dam that literally borders the pacific time zone and the arizona time zone. The dam itself is gorgeous and is a wonderful structure. It's fun to learn about how it was created and there is information everywhere on details of how it was created. You can see above that they are currently in a drought as the water level is so low which is not fun. I guess climate change has affected a lot more than people wish to talk about. The funnest part of Hoover dam though is that on the ground is a big sculpture that encapsulates the night sky! It shows the star positions of all the stars as they appear on the night of September 30, 1935. It was super cool. The concept for that was so that if any extraterrestrial life were ever to come down to Earth they would be able to know when the structure was built by being able to see the differences in the night sky. So cool!
