Saint Louis takes the cake (so far) for being the funnest city! It somehow even trumped Denver, but that could just be because I was surrounded by brothers. At first I thought I knew no one in Saint Louis, but turns out I knew countless brothers in the area. This then turned into me coordinating a massive dinner in which we had 10 people show up; alumni and beta zeta. Before meeting everyone I went and had tea (and worked) at a gay friendly coffee shop called Mokabe's which I couldn't pronounce for the life of me. I think it took me 2 days to finally say it correctly. After Mokabe's I dropped off my stuff at Miofsky's house and we went to the coordinated dinner. The feast we had was at the shaved duck. The food was phenomenal and the company was even better. We at to our heart's content and then drove off to Attitude's nightclub. Although I don't really like to drink I still had an amazing time dancing the night away with my brothers. I think we even ended up stealing the stage for a while.

Gateway Arch

The next day was just as fun as I went and saw the gateway arch. I ended up taking the picture above. The arch was nothing too spectacular, but the museum they have and the shows are pretty good. The view from the top is also pretty, but I don't know if it's worth the cost. I think the elevator ride up/down was more fun due to how the elevator worked. It really was a feat of engineering to get it to work. It was truly gorgeous on the inside. I kept up with tradition and went to Bogart's for lunch, which was an amazing BBQ joint in Saint Louis. The food was phenomenal and the place was packed! I ended up eating with one of the locals who knew the owner of the restaurant. We chatted it up and he recommended a few places I had to try in New Orleans (both of which turned out to be amazing!). Lunch was totally worth it and shortly after I ended up going to the Catholic Basilica. The pictures below are just a couple of the images from there and as you can see it was gorgeous. Every corridor was more beautiful than the one before. By the end of visiting the basilica I was almost considering converting to catholocism.
